Postponement of all meetings until further notice

Dear Supporters,

As you will all  know it is very difficult to arrange a safe set of lectures in a world contaminated by covid -19 virus. Both the speakers, and the audience, may be reluctant to attend ! In addition, our usual informal ambience  may be difficult to maintain in a world of social - distancing and masks.

However we recognise that many local people miss our input into the cultural life of Sherborne and hope to return to The Church Hall in January. In fact we hear that a vaccine may be circulating in the UK - along with the virus - by then. The team is starting to meet again and will keep you informed of our starting date. As always we urge you to ' follow - the -  scientists ' all of whom agree that the virus remains with us and a second wave is very likely, so keep taking care.

We hope to see you early in the New Year.
